I have a simple question: Is Mr. Barack Obama legally able to serve as President?
I was recently made aware of this question, prior to the election. And I have yet to hear a reasonable answer. So, now, before this really gets out of control, I’m broadening whom I’m asking.
Here’s the history of the question, paraphrased. We have all heard that Mr. Obama was born in Hawaii. We have also heard that at some point in his youth, he was taken to Kenya with his mother and father and spent time in school there, both a presumably Muslim school, and a Christian school. Apparently his mother relinquished her United States citizenship as did Barack. And this is why he was able to attend Kenyan schools. It seems that Kenya at that time did not allow dual citizenship and you had to be a citizen in order to attend the school. So, the first issue and question.
The second part comes later, when Barack and Mom return to the U.S. By the time he was 18, he should have gone through citizenship like any immigrant. But there aren’t any records to show that his happened. This is the second part of the question.
Understand the seriousness of this, please. If this is true, then he is either an illegal alien or an immigrant. Either way, by law, only a natural born citizen can be president. Therein lies the rub. The guy who started much of the investigation has filed numerous suits, in which he gives details and raises many questions. I have clipped in the latest article I’ve found below. All of this is accessible. It is not hidden; it is not obscured – well at least not by the people doing the asking. It is being hidden, and obscured by others, including the courts in Hawaii and the National Democratic Party.
It’s pretty easy to clear up, and the folks behind the suits have said that if Mr. Obama’s folks prove them wrong, fine. It stops and that’s it. He’s vindicated. But then why are they refusing to cooperate? Why is the court and the DNC, among others, obfuscating? Why not just produce the records?
I encourage you to research this, and please, keep asking! I am going to advance this to my state’s senate and legislature, and anyone else, blogs, emails, whatever, I can think of. We simply need a reasonable answer. Then we can drop it.
I copied the article, and this is one of the most recent article’s link: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?a=PAGE.view&pageId=78111
2nd lawsuit challenges Obama's citizenship
Man demands state verify birth records or remove senator from ballots

By Chelsea Schilling© 2008 WorldNetDaily
In a second lawsuit challenging Barack Obama's "natural born" citizenship, a Washington resident is demanding officials review original or certified birth documents for the Democratic Party presidential candidate.
Steven Marquis of Fall City, Wash., filed suit Oct. 9 in Washington State Superior Court, calling for Secretary of State Sam Reed to determine whether Obama is a citizen before Election Day. Marquis released a statement saying the state has the authority to "prevent the wholesale disenfranchisement of voters" who might have otherwise had the opportunity to choose a qualified candidate should records show Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen.
"At this point, Mr. Obama has not allowed independent or official access to his birth records nor supporting hospital records," Marquis wrote. "The Hawaii Health Department has violated Federal law by ignoring formal Freedom of Information requests for the same."
Marquis referenced prominent Pennsylvania Democrat and attorney Philip J. Berg's lawsuit in U.S. District Court against Sen. Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee for proof of Obama's American citizenship.
"Mr. Obama failed to respond to the District Court's request to produce or allow access to the official documents (should they exist) and instead filed a motion to dismiss arguing the Plaintiff had no 'standing' or right to know," he said. "This non-response as of 9/24/2008 in Federal court casts doubt on the veracity of the electoral system and is the principal reason for this lawsuit."
Marquis said his late entry of the lawsuit is due to Obama's "delay and subsequent non response to reasonable request for valid certificates."
He indicated that his requests for certification of the birth documents were rejected by Washington's Office of the Secretary of State. Marquis requested an injunction to force the office to confirm Obama's U.S. citizenship or remove his name from Washington ballots. He said the agency is "specifically charged with certifying and guaranteeing the veracity of official documents and overseeing the elections to wit the people's confidence in the fundamental aspect of democracy is maintained."
However, Marquis continued, "To date, in this regard, Secretary of State Sam Reed has not carried out that fundamental duty."

Disarm America?
This is wild, and very, very scary. It is important that you watch this. I think the link has been updated, as it is not a 51 sec bite, but a 1 1/2 minute clip, so that, as the person who posted it states, it is in context, not cut, not edited. I was watching details (there are trees blowing behind the window) and cannot see inconsistencies to make me think it was cut or whatever. Unless you don’t mind seeing America fall and become a lackey to other nations, totally disappear from the face of the earth or become another socialist republic, you will help stop this man. pwm

this is absolutely shocking & reprehensible. He plans to unilaterally disarm our nation. The question is... for what? And more specifically, for whom?!!!!!!!!"
Please, if you support Mr. Obama, tell me why. I honestly want to know. RESPECTFULLY! And I want facts. Not feelings, not rumors, not wild tales from either the left or the right. I don't care to hear how Mr. Bush lied because he didn't. He was misled, his was fed bad intel. Well, that happens to every leader of any organization about a half dozen times a day on a good day. I won't say he hasn't made mistakes. I won't say I agree with Mr. Bush 100%.
I will say that Mr. Obama scares the begeebers out of me! First the whole taxes thing and how much he wants to get from us, and now this? Folks, if he gets in, I suggest you buy a gun. Because our military will be neutered and we'll need to protect her ourselves as we did many times before. That's what the Second Amendment is all about. I am not exaggerating, nor do I think I'm being alarmist, but rather, I think I'm being realistic. And if you think you will want a gun, do it before November. If Mr. Obama gets in, odds are good he's going start repealing gun possesion laws and we're going to lose the right to buy them privately. Don't tell me that he's pro-gun, or at least not anti-gun. His comment that he comes from a state with hunting does nothing to allay my concerns. The man is a democratic socialist at best, a closet communist at worst. And he's already said that he'll put the Muslims ahead in any decision that makes him choose between them and another group.
God is in control, I have no doubt. But God tells us to pray for our leaders and support them. And take action in our nation. We are responsible. Respect the position if you can't or won't respect the person. Think hard folks. Pray hard. God keep you all.

New hunting hat

Hey, hunters, who likes to give the deer an advantage? Nope, I didn’t think so. Would you rather have a secret weapon, or at least a way to give yourself a quick edge? We like camouflage but it can get old wearing that face mask all day.
Well, I recently got a hold of one of the coolest little hunting gadgets I’ve seen in a while. It’s a hat, of all things. Looks like a typical ball cap, complete with bill and adjustable strap. Only it has a secret weapon: it is also a face mask.
Well, I recently got a hold of one of the coolest little hunting gadgets I’ve seen in a while. It’s a hat, of all things. Looks like a typical ball cap, complete with bill and adjustable strap. Only it has a secret weapon: it is also a face mask.
That’s right, it has your camouflage mask sewn right in. They make two kinds; one has the mask under the bill, and one has the mask at the back, depending on your personal preference. They are licensed with Mossy Oak™ and that’s the pattern on the camo hat, and they have solid black hats, for tactical uses. They’re called GameFace Gear, and the hat is called QuikCamo™. And I personally think it’s great little addition to any hunter’s gear. Heck, cops and others who want tactical gear could use it too.
I wore my hat for five days at the recent 30th Annual National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) trade show, called simply “the Shot Show”, in held in Las Vegas NV at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Mine has the mask on the back, and sometimes I wore it with the mask up, like a ‘regular’ ball cap, and much of the time I left the mask down, like a neck cover. It was comfortable either way. The hat has a nice ‘soft’ feel to it, and whether the mask was up, inside the hat, or down on my neck didn’t make a difference. I regularly wear hats, and like them to be comfortable.
The mask is really nice, too. They put some thought into this and it shows. I wear glasses, and had no problem with simply spinning the hat around over my face. Didn’t take but a second to line up my eyes, and, seriously, there is virtually no obstruction of vision. I didn’t try it, but Doug and the guys (who make them) told me that if I put my glasses OVER the mask, it would press it down and I’d really not notice it. The mask has holes for glasses so that doesn’t cause a problem either. The ears have a covering that has plenty of space for game headphones and the like. Add to that the mask is lightweight enough to not interfere with breathing and you have a very useful hunting hat. Oh, I almost forgot. It also has that scent-blocker technology, so it helps keep you sneaky while you’re stalking the next prize turkey or venison.
Okay, so wearing it all the time with mask down the back looks a little, dare I say; redneck? Hey, it’s comfortable, okay? And if you’re out and about with sun or wind, it really does help protect the back of your neck. Then, as you get closer to Bambi’s mom you spin your hat, and your shiny little face disappears, replaced by a shadowed bunch of leaves. How simple is this? Check out the hats on Toadstrom.com, our website where we sell stuff for hunting and fishing, or on their website, QuikCamo.com. I think you’ll be glad you did. Meanwhile, check back here, because I’m gonna have more to say about cool and fun stuff I found at the Shot Show. Have a great day, and good hunting!
Shot Show
Shot Show
Well, the 30th Annual National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) trade show, called simply “the Shot Show”, was held in Las Vegas NV at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) from February 1st through February 5th, 2008. And let me tell you, it was quite a show! Now, mind you, this is from the viewpoint of an ‘outsider’ since my only reason for being included is that I’m fortunate enough to be married to the CFO of Toadstrom, Inc., an e-business on the Web at Toadstrom.com. I was there with my wife and her parents, so this was a pure business trip, not a vacation, despite the fact that we were in the penultimate “Sin City”: Las Vegas Nevada!
Since Toadstrom, Inc. is an “e-tailer” of sporting and camping products, they have joined the NSSF. As members of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, they were invited to attend “Shot Show University” on the Friday before the start of the Shot Show, and to a very nice dinner and concert on Saturday night. I won’t say too much about the “University”, as it was just that – a bunch of business classes. Good for what it was intended to be, I’m sure, but as I was there as a spouse, and not a business partner, it was pretty boring.
Now, the dinner on the other hand – that was cool. It was clearly intended as a way for the various members of the NSSF to meet and mingle. A free bar and cocktails before dinner certainly got the evening moving nicely. We were seated with three other couples for our dinner. During the dinner were shared a little bit and discovered that a few of the folks we were eating with are well known in the world of competitive shooting, and are even ranked among the world’s best.
Much of the sponsorship and funding was provided by Ducks Unlimited and the National Rifle Association, so we had members of those organizations speaking, and we even had a recorded message from Morgan Freeman in support of Ducks Unlimited. A Medal of Honor winner (one of only about 150 surviving such) also spoke, although he had to wait for the standing ovation he had received to die down. I will talk a little more about the politics and direction of Ducks Unlimited and the NRA in later blogs. I will say this now: I am a member of the NRA, and proudly so!
After dinner, we were treated to a live concert by none other than the world-renown Grammy winner, Randy Travis. I’m not an aficionado of country music generally, but I knew many of his songs, much to my surprise. Of course, country music being what it is, I and my wife found we were guessing the lyrics and pretty much able to sing along. A couple of his newer songs were really tear jerkers. One he sang was about ‘three crosses by the side of the road’, and was a story of how four people bound for Mexico were in a fatal crash, and the one who lived became a preacher. Pretty powerful stuff. Randy told a couple of jokes, and some stories. I had not seen or thought of that side of him, but I was impressed. He seems to be a fairly genuine sort. He was certainly well received by the crowd. Not too many people left early, but then again, how often do you a get a nearly private concert, while drinking wine and mixed drinks and eating cheesecake? Yep, it was a nice night!
I’m not sure exactly how large the Las Vegas Convention Center is, but the NSSF Shot Show pushed the envelope. It was too large, and had too many exhibitors to fit under the roof, so two tents were erected in an adjacent parking lot to handle another few hundred booths. There were some TWO THOUSAND vendors present. You name the type of gun, they were probably there. You name the purveyor of tactical or outdoor or hunting accessories, they were probably there. I will go into detail in some later blogs about some of the specific things we looked at, learned about and played with. Many of these companies don’t like working with Internet-based ‘e-businesses’ so we didn’t spend too much time there. Others were more than willing to discuss the growing opportunity presented by online sales, so it was a mixed bag. I did like poking in the Sig Sauer display, although Toadstrom, Inc. (Toadstrom.com) will not be selling guns in the foreseeable future. But I hadn’t handled an assault rifle before then – ooh, I had chills! And there were more than one display of .50 caliber rifles that I and my wife’s dad were fiddling around with. Manufacturers and sellers of GPS units, backpacks, flashlights, binoculars, hunting clothing, and just about anything else even remotely associated with hunting, camping, the outdoors, or any other reason to use and carry a gun. Even Blackhawk and Blackwater, the US Army, the Paralyzed Veterans of America, NV-OSHA, and the ATF had booths and were talking with the visitors and buyers. And I almost failed to mention all the cools toys and gadgets that were on display, and even for giveaway: the H-2 that had a deer-stand on the roof, the Jeep Rubicon that was painted and tricked by for the Paralyzed Veterans of America, the Rhino off-road vehicle with all the accessories, and the US Army sponsored quarter mile dragster.
Toadstrom, Inc. (Toadstrom.com) was able to accomplish what they had set out to: They met representatives of the companies they regularly work with, and even handled and used many of the products that they have sold online already. We also met some more people and saw some products that can be added to the Toadstrom, Inc. (Toadstrom.com) inventory and list of providers. We have all learned quite a bit over the past 10 or 11 months that Toadstrom, Inc. Toadstrom.com) has been around, and they have found many outdoor products that people need and want. Now, they can say of much of that they have handled it, used it, or talked with the people who make or sell it, so they can easily and truthfully tell you about them.
Well, it was five days in which we walked probably 4 or 5 miles AT the Shot Show daily, after walking through our hotel, to the bus or the monorail, so we were four tired people, let me tell you. But it was a good trip overall, since as a family we got to spend quite a bit of time together, and for Toadstrom, Inc. (Toadstrom.com) they reaffirmed some relationships and partnerships, and started some others.
The next Shot Show will be next January in Orlando Florida…I wonder if Toadstrom, Inc. is going there? I’ve never been to Orlando…
